Ace of Cakes

While watching a little Food Network today, my little sister asked me how much a cake from Charm City Cakes would cost.  Like the tech-savvy big sister I am, I immediately looked it up online.  In case anyone was wondering, a cake from Charm City Cakes will set you back at LEAST $1000.  Srsly.  From their website:

Because all of our cakes are priced individually by the complexity of their design, we do not have a standard price list.
Due to the care we give to each cake and the one-of-a-kind nature of each order, we require a minimum of $1000 on all of our cakes.

Who buys these things?!?  I can’t believe anyone would spend That much money on one cake.  ONE cake.  Also, if you are wanting one, you can’t just go down and buy one, you have to order at least 3 months in advance.  They are completely booked up until January 5th! 

It almost makes me think I should go into the cake decorating business.
