My parents live in the middle of nowhere, and because of their location they are forced to have satellite internet. Satellite internet is slooooow. I can’t watch any hulu videos because my connection speed is subpar. I can’t get google reader to load, so I can’t read any of my blogs. I tried loading youtube ten years ago, and it’s still not even hardly loaded. It’s not usually quite this slow. I’m getting a bit frustrated. All I really want is to watch Natalie Portman’s SNL digital short. I just discovered it. I would stream it on hulu, but since that isn’t possible, I found it on youtube. Unfortunately, the internet hates me.
Ah HA! Youtube is performing site maintenance. I knew it was being entirely too slow.
I just want to load a video. Is that too much to ask? Apparently, it is. Wait… it’s loading. Cross your fingers…

This video is extra slow… It’ll be worth the wait though, since it’s Regina Spektor. Her new album’s out on the 23rd. I’d be able to buy it, if I had a job. Does anyone want to give me a job?

Not a youtube video and I couldn’t get it to embed properly. I’m not even sure if this link really works; however, if it does work there is a very pretty Regina in a very pretty new video. I’d never heard that song before. I think I like it.
