Vampires and Vacation Pics…

In case anyone was wondering…

… the new Twilight movie is going to be just as awesomely bad as the last one!  I so can’t wait!  That wolf-morph is the next best thing to sliced bread.  Srsly!

In other news, the second day we went to the Arch turned out to be much more beautiful than the first.  I took this beauty of a photo.  The weather was amazing.

Crazy pretty, yeah?  However, I can’t share the best photo EVAR, because I promised a friend they could be special and be the first to see it.  Until I get the confirmation that she’s viewed it, it is closed to the public.  You’ll just have to hold onto your hats and wait.  Patience is a virtue, you know?

Lions and Tigers and Arches, oh my!

Okay, so there are no Lions or Tigers, but arches… yes.

And exotic animals…

The ostrich and the baby giraffe must be good friends.  You wouldn’t let just anyone pick bugs off your back.

This guy was funny, too.  He had been hiding completely under a sheet for some reason or another.  I guess he must be shy.  I can’t say that I blame him.

If you haven’t figured it out yet, I’m in St. Louis on a family “staycation.”  Lame term, yes, but it’s been a delightful trip.  We saw the Arch and the Zoo today.

Plus, for some reason, tonight they gave us the honeymoon suite in the hotel.  What that means is that I don’t have to spend the night trying to sleep in the same room as my father.  He snores louder than any person I’ve ever heard in my life.  Honestly, it’s like he drops little mini-bombs in the room every couple of seconds.

Most importantly, I got a tie-dye shirt from the Zoo that has penguins on it.  That makes it pretty much the coolest shirt ever.  I love penguins.

With that… I bid you adieu.

Fare thee well.
